This week, we hosted our partners from ITEQ Corporation at the Arcanum lab for in-depth discussions on DK/DF material characteristics and their relationship to real-world high-speed testing challenges.

Our conversations focused on several practical questions closely tied to actual measurement work:

• Why do variations in DK/DF become so pronounced in Gen5 and Gen6 signal integrity (SI) performance?

• How do different stack-up configurations affect the repeatability of test fixtures?

• Which material properties must remain tightly controlled to ensure predictable SI performance?

As part of the exchange, we also reviewed 65 GHz Delta-L measurement results—an effective way to observe material stability at high frequencies and understand how it translates into real fixture performance.
