Traditional Delta-L measurements are limited to characterizing PCB material properties at room temperature only. However, with increasing data rates and the high-power demands driven by AI applications, real-world systems typically operate for extended periods under elevated temperature conditions.
Under such environments, the electrical properties of PCB materials can change over time, which may directly impact overall system performance and signal integrity.
To address these more demanding operating conditions, Delta-L measurements and analysis can be performed across multiple temperature points, enabling a more realistic evaluation of material behavior and system performance under actual thermal stress.
