Delta-L Insertion Loss Measurement

Delta-L is an insertion loss measurement methodology developed by Intel for the PCB industry, designed to significantly reduce the complexity and cost of differential insertion loss measurements.

This methodology adopts standardized test coupon designs, enabling a consistent and repeatable measurement process. When used together with standard test fixtures, Delta-L allows for fast, reliable, and highly correlated measurements.

Arcanum Advanced Delta-L Measurement Services

Arcanum Advanced provides professional measurement services for the following Delta-L methodologies:

• Delta-L — supporting Delta-L 3.0 and Delta-L 4.0

• Measurement frequency range:

  • Delta-L 3.0: up to 20 GHz

  • Delta-L 4.0: up to 40 GHz
